Why would we need to mention Post Office boxes?
Simple. Many of our smaller competitors operate from a Mailboxes Etc, Post Office Box, or the corner of a public warehouse. They operate with a minimum of personnel, supervisors, equipment; and in some cases work right out of their homes. Some, particularly in the disaster restoration business have no personnel in the lower Alabama area at all; they simply are an 800 number, and they call a subcontractor if they ever get a real lead. Their ads are misleading on the internet, and some use franchisor stock photos to appear as though they are a real company. On our ads, we use our own local photos. They might not be quite professional quality, but the customer gets the idea - after all, we are in the janitorial and disaster restoration business; not the professional photography business.
Even under our own brand, unfortunately, there have been operators who operate from a Mailboxes, Etc. It is allowed. As a real operator, with a real physical office, and the requisite overhead, we find this practice to be highly objectionable. While we cannot change it, we can let the public know that there are ways to check out who your provider is.
